She bares forth unto the grey
The light of long-gone yesterdays
And beckons near the thunderclouds,
Her voice like softly falling rain

What angel’s this, that led me here,
To bloom anew beneath her grace
And come once more from ‘neath the ground
To leave my winters resting place?

I think that I did see her there
Along the solemn mountain plains
And in the winds that moved the fields
