A nameless space between the lines
of auburn sun and starry skies

As all that’s best of dark and bright
she holds my hand into the night

The raven calls, the end is near
but I won’t shed a single tear

there’s the beating of a drum

And days to rest
are an awful long time to come

when it begins

And who dare walk with beauty her
among blood and fire and pain and fear?

And who dare name the faceless grace
that marks the beauty of this place?
